Pick all four options from the list. If Nilfgaard, then Emhyr survives, otherwise Radovid or Dijkstra will rule.
Skellige Islands up to now remained neutral side of the war conflict. I thought I did until I started playing the witcher 3. The quest will end (100 experience points) and two new ones will unlock - Bloody Baron and Hunting a Witch. Whether Emhyr survives depends on who will win the war. Signposts. Radovid is obviously Redanian, Philippa Eilhart and Sigismund Dijkstra are also former Redanians but their status is... complicated. Novigrad is independent, and I'm not sure if Redania is on the map, but they're invading from even further North I believe. Geralt is a bit of a special case in that almost every single ruler in the universe knows him personally and owe him some favors, plus he's supposed to be neutral so he's allowed to just go wherever he pleases. Just to clarify, is it the Black Ones who are in the northern territories? Novigrad is a neutral city-state that is important because it lies right at the intersection of big rivers and has a huge fleet and a lot of gold.
